Use the IANA Database pointed to in RFC 3232 to find the current values of the Frame Types in an ethernet packet. What do Frame Types 0800 and 86DD (hexadec) stand for? RFC 1631 has been "obsoleted". Find out by what RFC it has been obsoleted. RFC 2766 has been "updated". Find out by what RFC it has been updated. Can you guess what the difference is between "obsoleting" and "updating" ?
