Find a computer across an ocean. 
For a range of packet sizes (100 , 500 , 2500 , 10,000 data bytes per packet)
estimate the RTT and the packet loss probability. Send enough packets 
that you feel your estimates are reasonably accurate.

What is the impact of packet size on RTT? On loss probability?
Why do you think that is the case?

Do this twice.  Preferably once from the university, once from
home. (Otherwise: twice from the same place, at a ``busy'' time and at
a ``quiet'' time). What difference do you see? Why do you think you see 
that?

Hand on Oct 17.  Show part of the ping output (enough that we can see
what you did) and your reasoning and conclusions.
