Hand in 7.1, 7.9.

Log on to a Unix system. Read  man ping . 
Find the name or address of a computer across an ocean that responds to ping. 
Estimate the RTT to that machine and the packet loss probability 
on the path to that machine and back. Make a xerox of the output 
(only first and last 10 lines if the output is large). Hand in Oct 03.
