Grading in the ``QoS'' class, fall 2002. Of the 18 students who filled out the ``questionaire'' in the first lecture, the degrees sought are: PhD MsC Did not say 11 3 5 I consider this class as primarily a PhD course. MSc with strong backgrounds and strong interest in computer networking are very welcome. My impression is that students mostly have the right backgrounds. Since this is primarily a PhD course I expect strong participation by all students. As long that participation is there I will be liberal in the grading. (I would like to give all A-s, but only if it makes sense). Input from students on how I can measure this participation level is welcome. We will discuss this on Thu 09/19. Teun Ott.
